The vast majority of people, when they experience unpleasant thoughts, feelings or emotions such as anxiety, fear or confusion, judge, fight and resist them. It’s an unconscious knee-jerk reaction.
They believe that something’s wrong, that something needs to be fixed and worst of all, that there’s something wrong with them for having these thoughts. (Hint: having negative thoughts is a perfectly natural part of being human).
